4:08 PM on 20 December

What does 4:08 pm mean to you today?  For me it is the earliest sunset for another year and marks the beginning of MORE daylight.  Over the next week we will be getting about 1 minute of additional daylight per day, moving up to 2 minutes per day in a month or so.  Today it was dark by 4:30 and we don't get sunrise until 8:30 am, so it's a long night!

However, in April, May and June, daylight builts until around 10:45 pm - we really love it then.  We are not quite like the Northern Lights here in Dublin, but our Northerly global position is different from anything we experienced on either the West Coast or Mid West of America.

I also thought some of you would be interested to know that The Community Centre where we normally meet on Sundays, was not open for some reason today.  It was supposed to open at 10 am, as usual, but no one showed up . . .  so off to plan B.  We moved our meeting to Jeff & Caroline's house, about 5 minutes from The Centre.  It was a very cold morning with lots of icy spots on the road so we didn't know how many would come but as it turned out, there were 57 people crammed into the house!  Another example of what can be done with His help and blessing.  We average about 40 - 45 each week!

Tim, Interesting you would

Tim, Interesting you would mention car insurance, wonder why? ha.ha.

Trust and pray you have a happy Christman season

Good to hear you are doing so well

Steve
