Our Irish Thanksgiving!

Last Saturday, 2 days after the US Thanksgiving Day, we had 13 folks over for a wonderful semi-Traditional turkey day feast!  In reality, we had two fairly tradional thankgiving dinners this year as we did one a few days before Sarah left at the end of October - she couldn't stand the thought of missing out on pumpkin pie and all the trimmings!

We have had many of our Irish family in for this US tradition and they all seem to like it!  Pumpkin pie is something most here have never had, some like it and some don't, but its great fun to see what they think! Below is a picture of our Finglas (NW Dublin) friend, Sue Rowland as she inspects a few of the after dinner desserts!  Humm, which one to take . . . most of us tried a bit of each.  Those of you from the states were probably all settled in with American football by this time!
